Refund Policy

This policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and respectful of both your time and ours.

1. Cancellations by the Client

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled walk will receive a full refund or can be credited toward a future walk.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled walk are non-refundable, as time has been reserved specifically for your dog.

  • Same-day cancellations or failure to provide access to the dog (no answer, locked property, unavailable dog) will be charged in full.

2. Weather & Safety

  • Walks will go ahead in normal rain and cold conditions.

  • In cases of extreme weather (heatwaves, storms, unsafe conditions), Strider reserves the right to:

    • Modify the walk (shorter walk, enrichment instead), or

    • Cancel the walk.

  • If Strider cancels due to safety concerns, clients will receive a full refund or credit.

3. Cancellations by Strider

  • If Strider needs to cancel due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, clients will be offered:

    • A full refund, or

    • A rescheduled walk at no extra cost.

4. Packages & Prepaid Walks

  • Prepaid packages are non-refundable once started

  • Missed walks due to late cancellation still count as used sessions.

5. No Refunds for Behavioural Issues

  • No refunds will be given if a walk or session must be ended early due to:

    • Aggressive behaviour

    • Unsafe handling conditions

    • Health issues not disclosed in advance

  • Your dog’s safety and wellbeing always come first.

6. Training Sessions 

  • Training sessions require 48 hours’ notice for cancellation.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged in full.
